How Interior Design Brings in More Money

I am so tired of small business owners not realizing the potential MONEY they will GAIN, if they just put some EFFORT into their SPACES!

Regardless of what industry you're in, looks matter.

And I'm not just talking about physical appearance; I'm talking about the entire place of business that you present to your customers.

We live in a world of Instagram, TikTok, and digital media where everybody is getting a visually stimulated. For better or for worse, you are now competing with that.

In fact, Google Maps has now included a category within the photographs called "vibe/ inside."

If the vibe is good, people will want to stay longer, and if people are staying longer, they’re going to spend more money. That's just a fact.

It would be silly to think this doesn't apply to all industries; it doesn't matter if you're a tax accountant, a dentist, a skin clinic, or a plumber. Steve Jobs made sure the inside of Apple products was designed with the same level of precision and elegance as the exterior, even though most users would never see it. This attention to detail reflected his belief that true effort matters in every aspect, visible or not. And Apple is one of the most successful businesses in America!

Why not put some aesthetic effort in your place of business?

Now I am not saying you have to spend tons of money renovating your place of business. If you can do that, I support you!

However I am all about making sure you are making more money than you are spending. You can make it aesthetically pleasing to the eye by doing simple things.

The most basic is keeping the place clean and making it feel like a brand-new or lightly used space. That means ensuring the counters are clear of dust, removing scuffs from the walls, and making sure furniture and all its accessories are in place.

You’d be surprised at how often people fail to do even this basic level of upkeep!

Now, to add some adjustments and achieve the biggest ROI, do this:

  • Add Music to the space—let it be gentle, quiet background music.

  • Flowers—don’t use fakes (they cheapen the place).

  • Lights—having different types of lighting aside from overhead lights goes a long way. Install dimmers to create variety in the space

The cliché saying "looks matter" applies to business. So take a moment each day to ensure your space feels inviting, whether customers are there for two minutes or two hours.

A great vibe can turn casual visitors into loyal customers, so invest in the aesthetics and watch your business thrive!

Remember, it's not what you do but how you do it! Style supersedes everything!

As always, I am here to help you get ridiculously loyal customers, so let's get to it!
